LESZNO

Our home required a complete overhaul of the interior architecture and space planning to truly fulfil its potential, a challenge we were incredibly excited about.

Nestled in the Old Town of Leszno, our own home is a quiet reflection of the values we bring to every project: timeless elegance, natural materials, and considered comfort. Set within an early 20th-century townhouse, the interior was designed to respect the building’s original character while supporting the rhythms of modern family life.

We wanted to create a home with a timeless, natural colour palette that would stay with us for many years to come. A calming, rustic palette of classic parquet flooring, soft wool carpets, and tactile wall finishes provided the backdrop for a layered and personal interior. We used woven linens and soft textures in muted tones to create warmth and depth, balancing simplicity with richness. Architectural features such as plasterwork and panelling throughout provided an impressive backdrop to contemporary classic furnishings and artwork.

Every element, from carefully selected wallpapers and timber veneers to faux leather accents, polished plaster, and natural stone, was chosen to create elegant yet comfortable interiors that stand the test of time.

Bespoke joinery was designed throughout, including a small yet highly functional home office seamlessly integrated at the end of the corridor. In the living space, custom wall panelling and thoughtfully selected furniture added character and texture, enhancing rather than competing with the townhouse’s original charm.

Thoughtfully layered lighting, combining ambient, task, and accent elements, was used throughout to create atmosphere and flexibility from day to night, helping to enhance the overall sense of comfort and elegance.

Designing for ourselves reminded us how deeply emotional the process can be and how much joy comes from creating a space that feels truly like home. As our own family home, this project is particularly close to our hearts. It speaks to who we are, how we live, and what we believe makes a space truly meaningful: harmony, craftsmanship, and lasting beauty.
